Instead of smelting the ring down and losing it's original shape, hallmark and inscriptions, why not have it slightly altered into this simple heart shaped pendant
Your ring is quite simply cut in half. Each semi-circle is then shaped and re-soldered back together again in the shape of a poignant heart.
Thsi service is possible for any simple plain band made in sterling silver, 9k, 14k,18k,22k and platinum. Not available for non-precious metals.
The price for this service changes slightly depending on the metal alloy, simply as we add a matching metal bail on top. So the bails are made in silver, 9k, 18k or platinum.
You might have your own chain or you can purchase this service with a chain. Simply make your selection when you order. The chain as standard is an 18" curb chain. I can provide longer chains or different style, heavier chains. Please contact me with your preference and a quote.
