Beautifully hand crafted, this antique Diamond engagement ring dates to 1908 when it was hallmarked at the Chester Assay Office (). An unusual design, one we've not seen before, it takes its inspiration from the Arts & Crafts Movement which held great influence over artisans of the day... you might think of artists such as William Morris and Frances MacDonald.
The design is gently naturalistic and fashioned in 18ct Gold it has a soft aged patina which shews the gorgeously glittery old Diamond off perfectly. They are cut in the Old Euro style and are contemporary with the ring, being the best faceting for big sparkle!
A genuinely lovely old romance and the very best option for both sustainability, ethical reasons and originality. The ring size is a 'P and a half' or '7.75' as is but we could alter to suit if you leave a message on your order form. The combined Diamond weight is in the region of 0.25ct.
